As far as I know this is their first 1/35 kit. Will be interesting to see what they offer in the future, their small scale models look really nice.

Found a pic of the Eagle built up on another site. It looks pretty good.

I’ll take one, thank you; right, that’s Christmas sorted.
Also used in Mali, but with the vent cover topside.

I think I will make a danish version with the Eagle IV.

I have received the kit.

The german Eagle IV is fitted with Continental tires 335/80 R20 MPT.

The danish Eagle IV is fitted with Michelin tires 335/80 R20 XZL.

For the replacement of the tires to make a danish vehicle, the Jackal 4x4 rubber tires from Hobbyboss are a possible option because they have the dimensions 335/80 R20 XZL , but there are some fit issues with Vespid rims.

I am surprised with the diameter difference between both rubber tire as they are supposed to have the same one.

In the 1:35 scale, the tire diameter should be 29,7 mm.

So Vespid tires are too little with only 27 mm, not sure the resin option included in the other Eagle IV kit is right because it is from the same manufacturer.

Hobbyboss tires are the winners for the diameter accuracy with 30 mm.

Vespid tires are wider than Hobbyboss tires.

To fill the gap between Vespid rim and Hobbyboss tire, I have glued a 0,5mm styrene sheet around the rim.

Removed 2mm to the width of the part D2 to fit width of the tire.
