VFA-125 F/A-18B Hornet - Haesgawa 1/72 plus goodies

I know the Hase kit has some tricky fit issues, but the price was right at my local shop (the D kit has all of the B parts). I will be using TwoBobs decals and need to decide on one of the four schemes. How it started:

Cockpit decals are done and the fuselage halves are glued together:

As described earlier, here is the “challenging” fit behind the wings, along with the gaps left from cutting out the flaps; time to break out the styrene strip and filler!

Yeah, it seems this area is bad on a lot of kits. Good luck with it.

Getting close, looks like a few spots that need some filler and a final sanding. Then it will be time to work on the intakes and front fuselage seams :sweat_smile:
