I don’t ever buy these but a heads up to anyone upgrading their kit with this.

Don’t use the supports provided for the sand shield brackets! The M4A1E8 had solid rods with threaded ends instead of the stamped ones included in this set. The M4A3E8 welded hull used this type but not the cast hull M4A1E8.

You’ll have to use the plastic kit provided ones if you want to make it accurate.

Here is an image of the M4A3E8 version which looks like a stamped piece of metal.

Here is the M4A1E8 version which had a threaded adjustable rod. My guess is so that these could be lengthened and shortened around the counters of the cast hull? that way all the supports would carry their proper load instead of them having to cast different ones for each section of the hull?
