Shaping up very nicely!
I should have the computers printed next Monday. I have added the lamps so the work space is really close to the end.
I tried to make the jacks of the rear doors. As it was a success I decided to open the rear doors. As the conversion rear wall was not intended to have the doors open, I just cut the doors away as well as the Galix launchers which are correct unlike the kit ones. Then I had to thin the inner faces of the doors.
With the doors open, the ceiling needs to be detailed. A huge session of sanding was necessary to get a proper thickness. As my sanding was not regular I decided to hide it with plastic card. The great advantage of adding plastic card is that it will be easier to glue the styrene details to the ceiling.
The driver station has also been reworked a bit. The central episcope is modified as it is different. The steering column has been modified as Heller rendition is simplistic. The pedals have been added and some levers still need to be added.
Next week will be a week off (for modeling) as my grand-children come for their holidays.

That is excellent scratch building.
Thank you Ralph.
Here is a picture with the 3D printed computers. They were poorly printed with unusable screens. So I decided to cut theme away and make new ones from plastic card and strips. I also added the handles. This part is now finished. I still have to make the radios rack. I’m waiting for the delivery of 3D printed PR4G radio sets to complete this area.

Fantastic scratch building there Olivier!
Spectacular work Olivier, it is just fantastic attention to the internal detailing.
Just found this build. Really incredible scratch building, Olivier.
Thank you Terry. Most of the job is gathering enough pictures to estimate the shapes and dimensions of the parts.
I don’t pretend it is an accurate rendition of the interior. However it will do the trick at a model show.

The ceiling is a bit detailed with the A/C conduit, the cover for the RWS cables, some lights, the vision blocks, the folding vision blocks (mirrors) and a weird folding plate.
At the top of the picture there will be the radios rack.
Olivier
The driver station is complete. I have added a small lever as well as a shelf bolted to the ceiling. Not easy to get it at the right angle.
When I receive the radios I will be able to complete the commander station and the radios rack.
Olivier
I still haven’t got the radio sets so I decided to tackle the inner faces of the rear doors. The electric conduit from the inside of the hull will be added later as well as the jack rod and base.
Olivier
Very nice. The inner door panels look great.
Looks like they would actually work. ![]()
