Garrand, thank you for mentioning that! I managed to tact the tracks together by VERY generously coating both end connectors where they overlap with Testor’s Liquid Cement, waited a minute and coated again. Pressed & held them for a minute or so. They seem secure but I don’t like the kits tracks. I don’t trust them (mine) to stay together under tension over time.
Haven’t decided to replace them with TRex or Quick Track yet but the getting replaced.
Wow, I probably should look at some additional Asuka instruction sheets. Wouldn’t have guessed they’d fumbled other kits that way.
I have a set of AFV Club workables I bought for the Border M4A1. I might pinch those, since I want to do a Normandy era M4. But I’ll probably just buy another set for this kit as well.
They replicated the scene in “Fury” where Sgt. Peterson’s tank, “Old Phyllis” was hit by the Tiger, after Sgt. Peterson’s head was atomized by an 88mm round.
I admire the effrontery of the owner of Border Model’s saying on Chinese social media he’d eat 1.5 kg of $#!+ if Border’s Pz IV G wasn’t the best G on the market. However, I think that attitude gets Border in trouble on occasion.
