Great pics. I believe this is a Command Vehicle with the smaller, split rear doors and commo equipment and desk in the back.

Gino you are right. But I don´t know the proper designation.

I don’t know either as there are a few different command types. I updated the topic with a generic “Command Vehicle” designation. Hopefully someone will come along and properly ID it.

The pics are from 2015.

I did the same basic conversion for a Brit Army Capt I served with. It was his vehicle in Iraq in '03. I used an Accurate Armour Conversion for the Command Vehicle parts

Final display dio.

These are great pics!

This one particularly stood out to me. This one shows me leaving a thumbprint on my model is not always a problem. Of course the size of thumb that would have left this mark is a little scary!

Its a Warrior configured for the 0B role.

Normal Warriors are FV510 - Inf Command Warriors are FV511 - They are just referred to as Warriors though.

0B (Zero Bravo) That is the C/S of the Veh = Company Comd from whichever Company - This one is C Coy - Circular TAC sign - It will have 3 to 4 Antennas up and its his personal ride - It will carry less people as its for him to use while running Coy / Higher level attacks and planning. Will usually be the OC ( Officer Commanding ) a Maj, a couple of radio Ops in the back, and then the Driver and a turret crew.

0C (Zero Charlie) is exactly the same, but the Coy 2i/c wagon.

The OC is trained to act as turret crew as required but his main role is planning and execution of a mission from the back unless he has to dismount and fight through.

Its the same principle as a Cr2 Command tank, no special designation, its just a Challenger 2 reconfigured for the command role, and main difference for both is just the Comms set up to allow the OC to chat to the Coy?Sqn and talk to/monitor several higher formations, including Regt, maybe Brigade and Air Assests.

The only real specific version made to measure in the Warrior Comd/Comms fleet is the Arty FOO wagon (FV514/515), that has a dummy gun, different Arty sights/trackers and High Spec comms.

Another great set of Walkround images Hermann - nice work !!

Thanks for posting these, they are an excellent resource, I have one in the stash.

Thanks for correcting the title.

Superb walkaround! Thank you for sharing all these great photos and for the other walkarounds too.

You reminded of something I have had in the stash for years. Made me dig for it but unfortunately the conversion I have is not for the Command Vehicle but for the Battery Command. :upside_down_face: :upside_down_face:

I need to find a walkaround for that though. If you have any photos to share by any chance I would greatly appreciate it.

It’s a great walkaround, I’ll be using some of these pics when I get around to building my Warrior. It does make me laugh though because at one time pictures like the following would have had someone throwing a fit. For quite some time you weren’t allowed pics of Bowman.

They were Rifles !! I would hazard a guess they were being a bit slack. Im surprised the fits were still in there and not removed or at least covered … Everything on show there is still classed as restricted.

Haha yeah I wonder if anyone got rifted for that. I would imagine the fills had been dumped, but then again you never know.
