Nick gives a general view of the decoder installation process and starts with a basic introduction to the proposition of DCC. He then continues to what is involved installing a DCC decoder in some common diesel locomotives.
Upgrading to LED lights in a locomotive is an important consideration that is also covered. The viewer should come away with a good idea of whether he or she wants to pursue the task of conversion or upgrade of a locomotive and what is involved in the task.
