it’s just my view of bringing in a little texture to the ground, gras land. yes, it is mostly quite short, but mixing in some higher gras, very little bushes, mixing in some stones here and there, it just gives another feel. Of course it is all up to you to do it the way you like.
Actually it has all of those you mention. But being so large I cannot show all that is going on in photos.
Put any more in & it will effect the placing of aircraft.
Realistically there are going to be to many pieces of armour & aircraft on the diorama.
Have you produced any diorama ? Be interested to see how you approached it in detail.
