Discovered my CV90120 did in fact escape China on the 7th and is headed my way! No pics worth sharing, but good news.
Very cool that they made the CV90120 in 1/35. That one has the thermal imager. I wish they did the other version with the extra hull armor and RWS.
I ordered an RWS online from eBay. Should arrive soon. Not sure yet what i might do about the armor. Maybe a PL-01 donor? Hmm
Which RWS did you get? Looking forward to seeing your CV90120 built.
The Hobbyboss CV90-40C and LvKv 90C both have extra armor but is different from the one on the CV90120.
Looking good. When does the Get Hitched campaign run until ?
December 31, 2025.
So, nobody noticed my mistake , painting dpm desert in 1972
.
I corrected it, as also the DTM shoes, they should be dark brown.
I’m getting there
Slow progress not used to this many folds on PE. Determined to to get to grips with it, these will be hidden behind the seat backs so not the end of the world but would like to get it right.
Great! I’ll have time finish my current ptoject; M125 towing an M127 trailer on an M365 dolly.
Do you heat the pe before bending?
(metal annealing).
I find that helpfull with bending
Worked on my Takom Tiger I Mid. Put down the secondary color and once that has cured a bit a filter to blend the two and then I can work on the tracks, OEM, and whatnot that needs individual attention. Going to try and get it all done over the weekend and start the base. Then I’ll start assembling the other two Tigers I have waiting.
The inspiration:
The Centaur’s track broke or fell apart. Not sure what the prior owner had painted it with. The other one seem ok and held together.
Luckily had a spare thanks to the Cromwell build.
This one will cure for a day before washes etc or while the Cromwell returns to the workbench.
No I don’t thanks for the tip will gently warm the part tonight. Thanks again
