Can’t wait to see this guy come together, love the lines of Modern Brit armor/AFV’s.

I’ve been working on the 1/24 Tamiya 2019 GR Supra kit. So far a beautiful and enjoyable build. I’m doing the Japanese version with the partial red interior. I will be going for a Tamiya Chrome Yellow exterior.
Here’s a couple of pictures of a US version that it should (hopefully!) look like.
The Tamiya interior is beautifully detailed and the parts breakdown made it very easy to paint the various colors and parts before gluing them together.
The underside of the lower frame. I don’t paint much of this area unless it will be visible once finished- the brakes for instance will be painted but much of the rest won’t be.
Looking great Karl. ![]()
We have Tamiya campaign is you want to join with this kit.
Very nice Karl, love that yellow
@Tank_1812 - Thanks for the kind words. I started this about a week before the Group Build got underway so I assumed that would disqualify me for entry?
@Joe_Walsh and @Denimo - Thank you fellas- I do love a yellow car! I bought a can of the Tamiya color a while ago as I pondered which car to use it on.
Sorting through the Miniman Factory M916 pieces to convert the Trumpeter M915 to a ‘6. Surprising how many pieces differ; take the tire aspect ratios for example. This explains, at least in part, the visible difference in ride-height compared with the M915.
My caliper battery died this a.m. so I couldn’t measure and compare, but as you can see, if they’re accurately sized, it’s significant. The ‘5’s wheels seem to fit these upsize tires more or less, which is great news.
HI Do you have any more pics on the adats build. I’m just about to start my one and the instructions are crap, any advice would be great. The instructions are a bit confusing for the rear especially about cutting the ramp. Cheers
I talked to the campaign manager, he is ok with the build being included. ![]()
Hello Angel
Great work, your ZIL-130. I’m looking forward to seeing the finished model. You’re a modeling pro!
Well that’s great- I will go on over and sign up- thank you
!
Those pics make me smile Frank. There’s commitment to the hobby!
I’ll look at what photos I have. For the moment I’m not at home and the network is really average. I’ll get back to you later.
You’re camping? Would love a canvas tent, I think I could get my wifey to try glamping with one.
Discovered this today. One of HobbyLinks latest, I have 2 of their previous sets to make this, but I may build an M543 out of the wrecker set and buy this baby as a separate project.
A little more work than expected, the Doobi from Meng

The fun with the cage is still missing, any suggestion how to bend the plastic bares a little? So it looks more used?
