What I have thus far - M4A3E8

what a great kit! so much easier than my previous builds. next up will be a lacquer gloss kote for the decals, weathering is the plan too. I used Tamiya acrylic paint with Mr. color leveling thinner. I faded the base olive drab a bit and plan some color modulation to mimic random fade.

That’s gotta be Tamiya’s Korean Easy 8,in 1/35 right? A very nice kit and looking good.

thank you. I think my airbrush skills have improved quite a bit. I had this mental block about not thinning my paint ratio enough. So 1:1 on the OD/ thinner.it going to be difficult going back to older armor models this kit is that good.

The red front glacis can only mean one thing. Rice’s Red Devils - Charlie Co, 89th Tank Battalion; 25th Infantry Division, under the command of Capt. Clifford Rice during Operation Ripper in 1951.

nice images, thank you. My father served during WW2, my uncle Oscar during the Korean war. Hence my great interest in Sherman armor.

This is very inspiring David, that red painted glacis makes me want to do one!

yep , the little boy in me had to go for the red devil :grimacing: the decals are going to be a challenge so I left all the parts off the glacis ( I learned a new word today) so as to not botch up the decals. Would be frustrating to find replacement decals. I have been looking at Andy,s Hobby Headquarters tutorial video for this build. he had a difficult time with the Devil decal.
