About a year go i built a what if M1A3 using the Amusing hobby Abrams X as the base and adding bits and pieces from RFM’s M1A2 so i figured I give you all a update on it progress initially I retained the layout of the smoke grenade launches from the Abrams X as i began to look how the are located that they are just traps for debris and rain and snow so i deleted them and went with the mounts used on Marine Abrams and i wasn’t happy with them either so in finally settled on the ones use on the German Leopard 2 revolution and for a remote weapons station still no decision on what trype or location any suggestions the the last few pics show the changes made to the Abrams X

Wow, the AbramsX kit was released that long ago? I suppose that makes sense although I wouldn’t say time flew. 
Great job on the “What If.” The turret and conversion makes technical sense with new smoke grenades, “Trophy” Active Protection System, side and upper stowage bins, lighter 120mm “Pepperpot” cannon, and new CITV.
That is looking great.
