good afternoon i haven’t done a lot but I’m busy working on a what if the TTD failed and the south African army ordered gen1 m1a1 Abrams, my base kit is the academy m1a1 Iraq 2003 , any suggestions for this what if is welcome so far I’ve modified the rear deck to represent a v12 diesel conversion below is what i’ve done so far

Looking pretty good so far. One issue though, the APU in the rear turret basket is backwards. The overhang should be to the rear.

and here she is ,shes now complete and i am happy with how it came out , built with tamyia paints and glues but the kit itself is acadamy
very interesting
if you ask me i think S.Africa’s next MBT will either be a Leopard 2 of some sort wether it be new or second hand or the K2 Black panther
next time ill do a leopard 2
