Hi friends. Not all book sellers post number of pages or photos in their books for sale like they used to do. Some books are expensive but don’t have comprehensive photos. Some least expensive books are more than adequate for research.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank iyou! Dave
For IDF, you can try Desert Eagle Publications.
Tiran in Lebanese wars by Samer Kassis is a good book.

Sabingamartin Publications has “Tiran Tanks in IDF Service, Vol. 1- Tiran 4 and 4 Shrir”. 80 pages. Photos (no in action though), color profiles line drawings, photos of one at Latrun Museum.
Thanks everyone!!! I’ll be shopping around!
are you interested in a specific Tiran variant?
I’m modeling the Tiran 4, very early and later. I have one in 1/35 (MiniArt) I have yet to start, and am converting the 1/72 AmmoMig T54 into a little later Tiran 4. But, since there are SO many variants within variants, I’d like to see pics up close for detail yet in action as well. There’s a great pictorial on them at IDF ARMOR חיל השריון-צה"ל: Tiran tanks- T 54 ,T 55 ,T 62 captured soviet tanks in the IDF Tank Corps (idf-armor.blogspot.com), which has helped a lot, but it’s missing the tops of turrets. I’m thinking the right book without buying a library (more money for kits!) would help even more.
Holy smokes, Nikkos!!! Thank you, sir!!! Very helpful!!!
