What is the difference? - Revell Star Wars A-Wing Fighter

other than the colours red/blue and box numbers what’s the difference between these kits?

It’s the plastic that has the different colors molded on that is the difference between these snap type kits.

Looks like the colour scheme. Admittedly I haven’t watched these since they came out, but I do remember the blue one.
Interestingly, they went back to the original Ralph McQuarrie concept design for the A-Wing in those films. A much slimmer design than the fatter looking version seen in RoTJ.

McQuarrie’s original A-Wing. Lovely looking little fighter.

The ILM builders had to work with whatever they had to match the design. The wing gloves from Tamiya 1/32 F-14’s did the job quite well.

the only difference i csn see on tge box art at keast is on the upper hull between the nose snd canopy, the two triangle top barn doors are missing on the blue version but are visible on the red variant.
