I plan to get that same decal sheet soon.

I have the Revell kit I’ve wanted to build for awhile. I think it has appropriate decals but I’m not sure. But when I saw these I thought - those will get it done!

I saw another post that the Revell kit is good for a GF bird OOB so those decals would be prefect.

Well Postie brought me my Christmas purchases.

And we need the famous JV44 Sachsenberg Schwarm to escort all these jets on landing and take off.

Brilliant, I’ll keep my eyes peeled for those. Luckily Airfix have served me well with a nice C wing that has all the options I need in the box.

Well parcel arrived today with some of my counter to the Luft 45-46.

This one is getting a F.1 conversion which has been ordered.

Very cool! Was the Shinden ever built or was it just a paper project at the end of the war?

Two were built and one flew just before the surrender with production due to take place in tunnels within the mountains. There were plans to also build a jet version using German engines brought to Japan via U-boat, the jet version was never built. The J7W1 was a IJN project.

Interesting. Thanks. It’s a unique survivor.

I wonder how it handled?

AFV modeller though I normally am, I occasionally dabble in aircraft, and this beauty arrived today:

Going to be a bit of a monster though!

My re-supply from Scale Hobbyist arrived today. Able to move forward again. :artist_palette::paintbrush:

(Note: New Vallejo bottling)

PS: Also received an Amazon order: ‘Dust Off Duster’ (x4 cans) which were dropped-off by my neighbor, as USPS delivered them to his parcel locker by mistake.

I’ll probably make a start once I’ve got that Blenheim a decent way done. Oh and that Do17 I started before Christmas.

But it will be here when I do.

Bought this one on a whim as it’s going cheap, not fully knowing what to expect.

It was a pleasant surprise once I’d got through the old school cellophane wrapped round the box. It’s got a Matchbox feel about the layout of the parts on the sprue. Takes me back to my childhood. And it’s exactly the sort of subject Matchbox would tackle too.

A bit basic, but I do like the early pointed nose Sparrows they’ve included.

Decals look good too.

The proof will of course be in the building. Looking forward to making a start sometime soon.
