Vallejo Decal Fix is a lot like white glue. If painted onto a plastic lid and left to dry, it leaves a thin, clear film, just like white glue. I suspect it might even work as a weak canopy cement. Oh, hey. I’m gonna try that on my Stuka.
Vallejo Decal Softener is very mild. After 10 or 20 minutes, it will not seem like much is happening. Three hours later, it turns out it actually did work. It has the virtue of not attacking Vallejo paint.

Hmmmm. I have a problem. My new computer doesn’t have the USB connector that is on my camera. I may have to figure out how to connect on my phone…
But today, I received a Tamiya 1/48 F-16 Agressor from Amazon

Occasionally I find good deals on Amazon. This was about $40 delivered which is about 1/3 off what I can get from the usual hobby shops. It was the only Tamiya kit this seller had. I’ve seen a few other kits occasionally at deals like this. The Tamiya F-14s in 1/48 are sometimes available at about a 20% discount, and once or twice I’ve seen the Phantom with a substantial discount. I have seen no rhyme or reason about how these deals come about. But I saw this and jumped on it…
