^ RIP Valery Grygorenko
Finally picked this up at a show. I’ve wanted one of these kits since I first seen it 20 years ago.

KSO, that’s the only MAN truck which is still missing in my collection of Bundeswehr MAN. Hope to get it also one day …
The crane system is ‘implied’ in this kit FYI
Despite my vow to stop purchasing models, this just showed up on my porch.
I have no idea how that possibly could have happened. Also, if you sell anything online and your shop does not have a one click ‘Quick Buy’ feature, you need to drop everything you are doing and add that function this very second.
Where did those M113 tracks/wheels come from? I have never seen those.
Hard to say at this point, while they apparently have/had a warehouse in another country doesn’t mean that stock won’t dry up at some point and it’s unknown when production might start again.
Yea, at least 3 of those kits have been on my wishlist for a long time. Figured it would be prudent to get them while I can.
As for the ones I showed, my friend prints …
They look really good!
Tell us about that gun you are working on…
I ordered a few miniart items myself and am contemplating getting a couple more. It seems like stock is plentiful for now at least.
Das Werk’s 155mm C17S Howitzer, kit number 35022, in US markings,
I built it over the Christmas Holidays, don’t remember having much trouble with the kit except I think there was a PE piece with a bend line on the wrong side. Gave it that yellow base coat with the airbrush and have slowly been brush painting the camo on, think I’m at 3 layers of green and 1 of brown. Just need a second wind to get the rest of the painting done. If it comes out halfway decent I may post it here.
Couldn’t resist Sprue Brothers sale price of $31.99 for the T29. Less than a dollar a road wheel is an incredible steal price for American armor!
The price seemed too good to be true! Week later I’m going where are the model kits? Discovered I fat fingered “store pick up” instead of standard shipping.
Sprue Brothers custom service via email helped sort out the shipping issue and expedited they arrived today!
This lost RFM kitty followed the M29 into the cart.
Because they are really good!
Picked up that T29 as well, it’s a big boy
Postman brought a smattering of odds n sods today. All from BNA Models in Australia. It seemed like an expensive order for what it was, and today I realised why…… I accidentally ordered not one but TWO of the AFV kits . There’s two stacked atop of each other in the photo
I have my eye on that RFM Tiger kit as well @Armor_Buff …. not available in my part of the world yet though. Thoughts?
@barleeni, David first impression looking in the box is very good of course as it always is with these new state of the art kits. Fat box with a generous helping of nice parts. My impressions are it is a nice kit and I would buy again. I’m glad it doesn’t have an interior.
According to instructions only " Tiger 121" can be built, either dark gray or winter white wash over dark gray. I don’t know the nuances of Tigers well enough to know if the kit is dead on for “121” or other initial Tigers, looks good enough to me. Detail is very nice with what needs to be PE like engine deck screens being PE etc but not excessive.
The working torsen bar suspension looks fragile and unnecessarily fiddly. I’m 99% sure this will be my least favorite part of the kit. Each individual track link is two pieces and looks nice. I will probably replace them with a set of the working 3D printed snap together links to ease and speed assembly since the 3D links aren’t supposed to need clean up.
Main gun barrel is a very unique creative assembly of several slide molded cylinder that stack for no seam work. Looking like the type of outstanding engineering Dragon can only wish they were capable of imaging. The muzzle brake is likewise slide mold addressed. I think the MGB will require careful assembly to ensure it’s straight but will be the best plastic assembly one could have.
