I enjoyed doing that Pershing
Yeah that Pershing box art brought back memories! It was my first tank as a young teen. Good times.
LOL! I was thinking the same thing about the Panzer IV D!
I built the Panzer iv when i returned to the hobby during lockdown and although its an old kit, i really enjoyed it. Tamiyas reputation for good fit obviously applied even way back. Enjoy then both.
Haha! I built the Panzer IV as a young teen! When did that come out? 1977?
Me too
According to Scalemates, yes indeed: 1977.
Something a little different for me. Last built an arty piece about 20 years ago which was the ancient Italeri version of this gun. Been looking to build another one of them with slightly better molding.
~1977 sounds about right!
For the fifty year anniversary in 2027, I plan to build another one! Wink ![]()
Postman ran both ends of the spectrum today - monster and minute.
Got this gargantuan, 16 wheels and 25 inches of building fun:
And from Copper State Models, 3D printed wire wheels for the Lanchester armored car. I can’t believe how fine these are. Perfectly in scale and light years ahead of PE.
Jeez! That Topol - I mean - wow. I’d better start my Scrooge soon - sort of feels right in an historical way(!)
Only kidding - not any time soon folks(!)
I love the BART’s (Big Ass Russian Things) and I’ve built a couple of the 8 wheelers. When I saw this all practicality went out the window and I ordered it. I’ll have to move some stuff on my bench to build it.
Maybe you should start a “Gonna need a bigger bench” group build…
Funny you said that just now. You should’ve seen my “work tunnel” a few minutes ago before I cleaned up! ![]()

Sorry. My bad… Moved post to ‘AreoScale’ where it belongs.

I thought that Topol would get a reaction from you Brian, given that you have a Scrooge! I must say the Topol is an impressive beast also. We seem to be being spoilt with cold war mobile ballistic missiles lately what with the Pershing announcement.
I’m so glad they decided to put a few fire extinguishers on the front … they will really help if it ever blows up lol
… (tongue in cheek)
Yes, those fire extinguishers look silly on that massive truck and utterly useless.
Yes, like icepicks on the Titanic…
