But Scalemates could be a potential Cyber Security weak point…got to maintain Security…wink
It wouldn’t if he’d spelled “shiitake” correctly, but you can’t have everything.
Picked up this set of Spokes from Tom’s Model Works with intent to replace the plastic spokes of the Tamiya bicycle kits: #35333 and #35240.

The Spoke Wheels set #505 are slightly too large. The OD of the rims are approximately the OD of the whole bicycle wheels including tires. I can still work with them if I can find O-Rings that will fit over the PE spoke rims
He has fixed it now
You can go anonymous, just don’t forget to log off at the end of a session… It also saves money in that you don’t accidentally do a double purchase…
Are you good at cutting circles in plastic or card stock? Basically make a circular frame instead of an O ring.
Got this today. For the HEMTT gun truck in the Convoy build… Only needed one, so I have a few spare now.
Parts look nice as well
Comes with normal and crushed/
used bottles.
Shiitake happens…
Are you sure “Newman” didn’t do that?

I just cannot get over the detail achieved in this small item!
So when you do that figure of Buck Compton dropping his helmet, this is the one to use!
Here is the original helmet for color and painting reference:
Also Hot off the 3D Printer from Mikeybugs - just arrived:

More M113 stuff, this time a couple of conversions from Elite Models. Reviews on these kits are hard to find and mixed.
After a quick inspection of both kits, I’m pleasantly surprised.
They do some pretty good stuff in my opinion; I have a couple of their MUNGAs (and have built one as part of my Conqueror Mk 2 dio some years back. A perfectly sound little model.
The resin moldings are pretty crisp and clean for both.
I expected giant pour blocks on the hull roofs for both, but they been cleanly removed.
As I said, I’m pleasantly surprised.
My mailbox was empty today… A

Had to schlepp my package outa’ my neighbor’s mailbox. … Good ol’ USPS.
Special Armor (72001) 1/72 Hanomag SS-100 Gigant “Schwerer Radschlepper” Heavy Tractor.
