I had this arrive from Squadron today. I pre-ordered it back in May.

Daniel,

I’m not a Hebrew speaker… but this came out from the Hebrew Wikipedia:
M109AL “דוהר” (Doher)

I’m catering my ongoing Pz.IV-mania:

The RFM kit will become a Nibelungen produced Bulgarian Maybach,

while Pz.IV AM will replace some sub-standard parts in builds accomplished and planned.

Further, today I grabbed the new Zvezda T-62 kit from one of the LHS:

Will build a Bulgarian T-62 from early 1980 out of it.

And received some AM for planned builds.

Cheers,
Angel

Postie brought this to my door yesterday. Would love to build a dio with my recent M577A2 set up near the M109.

Picked this up from Scalehobbiest.

Does anyone make a P/E set for this?

Спасибо, Yuri. I appreciate is, but it appears that both the Eduard & Studio27 P/E sets are both discontinued.

Yes you are right. But when I want a set, it doesn’t stop me.
1/24 scale is not my scale, so I’m not interested in diving deep into the topic, but look at this set - I think they are very similar.

The easiest way is to open the instructions on the Eduard website and see how these two sets of photo-etching are similar and different.

Thanks, I’ll check it out.

Anyone know if this Italeri 1/24 Willys Jeep is the older Testor plastic?

Testors Willy’s Jeep (as well as most, if not all, of their 1/35 kits) are Italeri kits. They never produced any of their own.

Scalemates is always a good source to find the lineage of a kit.

Hot from the post office direct from Fleabay…inspiration to help with the ~40 Pz IV kits in the stash…

This was another cheap Amazon find that piqued my curiosity.

The book essentially serves as an encyclopedia of US Signal Corps vehicles during World War II. The pictures are neither large enough nor plentiful enough to detail or scratch build anything.

Yeah and almost all Italeri kit “releases” are re-re-releases from decades ago. Kinda sad.

Learned something new today and here I had thought italeri had reboxed Testor.

James, i have no problem with Italeri reboxing their old kits and try to make money on molds that has been paid off for several years. However, when they ask top $$ for a rebox with new decals then they lost my business. Hasegawa had done similar many times.

Here is a perfect example, what Jim posted is going for around $50 and higher… No thank you. I’ll just wait for a second hand edition if I want it.

I wonder whether we should have a thread “I stumbled onto this great deal…”

I got these on the auction website at a really great price. Prompted my thread on building T-34s.

Excellent my friend! Wanna see the progress on that!

Nice haul! You’re going to enjoy those AAVP’s. You could go broke on the aftermarket for them.
