What the postman brought today (Armorama)

It’s Starbond CA glue. I bought it because it was recommended on this site.

So far I like it much better than any of the other CA’s I’ve tried. The working time for the medium is quite substantial as far as CA (which I don’t mind), a dab of accelerator and good to go. It is also the most expensive CA I’ve bought, but so far worth the money.

This one hit my doorstep last night (forgot to change the shipping address to my friend’s house) but luckily the wife wasn’t home! Been waiting for this one for while. A beautiful, finely molded kit. The half tires will be a challenge to hide the seams, but they’re so much better than rubber! Includes a ton of PE and metal chain, and I got the 3D chain drives for it.

Another T-72 arrived yesterday. 3 in 1 allows you to build M, UV-1 and UV-2.
Struggling to find any information on the ‘UV’ variants, can any one recommend any good books on the T-72.

The designation is precisely ÜV or Übergangsvariante. Which literally means transistional version.
Here you have an overview on ÜV1 and ÜV2.

Hi Luciano,
I found Walter J. Spielbergers “Kampfpanzer der NVA” in my collection. He states that the ÜV1 has the continous sideskirts compared with the “gill” side skirts and the 16mm additional armor on the front plate. Other changes are internal. I think that Das Werk nailed it.
