An online shop had a number of different Riich Universal Carriers on sale this week, and as I’ve been wanting to build one (or a few) of those for some time, I took advantage of that
The A13 was a lucky find there, as I’ve been looking on and off for one for a number of years, but they’re sold out almost everywhere.
This just dropped through the letterbox:
It’s second-hand, published in 2010 and now fairly hard to find, at least for a reasonable price, but I never bought it when it was new. The reason I wanted one now is because I’ve been going through a site to find photos of repurposed military vehicles on it, and that’s exactly what this book is about.
Had this one arrive today from Casemate Publishers for me to read and write a review on.
You forgot to attach a photo, I think.
This arrived yesterday. It’s the wrong size for my M106 build, but I’ll find a job for it on a truck cargo load sometime.
The correct rope is on the way and the owner seems a nice guy to deal with.
I never heard of that manufacturer… How is the kit?
Gathering parts of an upcoming M4A1 Grizzly build. Just waiting on decals and some other small parts to arrive to get cracking.
I’ve built it. Nice kit. Fits great. Easy build. Tracks are nice, look right and are super easy to assemble. Might not be the world’s greatest Merkava kit but sometimes you don’t want 2000 parts ![]()
Thank you for that appraisal! It looks like a very nice model in the box.
In the past, a number of Academy models gave me trouble so it is good to know this one is an easy build. I could use a few of those.
Both were on sale. I’ve built a couple of Tiger Models before, enjoyed them both. It’ll be interesting to see how these go.
Is this a new release? Looks phabelous ![]()
Ebay haul today. Building a Huey for my father and I picked up some sheets of decals to use on other builds plus some pre-cut camo stickers woodland, digital and one called duck gap camo.
Wow, what a beautiful woman!
