While not delivered by the postman, I did score this Roden M37 at a local hobby shop as an open box kit for just $30. The bonus was that everything was still in the factory bags on the inside of the box. I imagine someone bought the kit and then started to research about it and heard how horrible these kits are to assemble and gave up before even starting. The local shop takes in kits to sell on consignment and for me it was a score. I’ve already built several of these kits so now I’m wondering what to build it as. And since I’ve been building a bunch of gun trucks lately, I think I’ll build it as Otto or Malfunction gun trucks.

The M51a2 kit finally arrived from overseas and I’ll be able to add it to the Hobby Link M52 conversion and M131 fuel trailer that came last week. Plus, I was able to send the extra frame rails from the kit to 18Bravo that he was looking for his Double Oh Gee HIMARS project.

Had two kits coming over the weekend, along with my replacement Tamiya rubber and tracks for my Cr.1 build.
This M106A1 kit is as old as I am.
Well, the original M113 mold is…
So this kit qualifies for Social Security benefits.

Does it have a four-digit stock number on the box? So 3616 instead of 35116? (I doubt it, if you bought it recently, of course, but maybe it really is as old as that 
)
That old kit cleans up well. I built one, all buttoned down, being towed behind an M543 Wrecker awhile back. The instruction sheet was the old type semi-cartoon style.

I mainly bought it cannibalize for parts to (hopefully) build an M1064A3.
