What the postman brought today (AutoModeler)

Future project planning, an earthmoving or logging company using repurposed military equipment after WWII. I’m seeing multi-layer chipping with Yellow or Blue or Red over the military colours with rusty and damaged panels.

Great idea! Forestry benefited a great deal from WW2 equipment, both private companies and government agencies. Dozers can build roads and clear wood easily, and tank transporters can pull logs out in huge quantities.

Just received the latest from Model Factory Hiro today - 1927 Norton Model 18 . Anxious to tear into it but I better finish their HRD/ Vincent I started a while ago first .

Nope, the postman DID NOT bring me this,
not today, not tomorrow, not ever, dang cool
thing though …

Only $17k + postage and maybe tariffs …

Some of us may have spent more than $17k on our stashes but
forking out THAT MUCH for a single model.

I would be totally interested in a 1/35 static model though …

First day would be working out how to “open the fridge and bring me a beer” with it :smiling_face_with_sunglasses: :beer_mug:

My neighbor was clearing out the garage and asked if anyone I knew would be interested so it wouldn’t end up in the trash. I said I’ll take it.

AFX! Are you kidding me??

I remember this specific set when I was a kid.

I was very lucky and got this somewhat rare model last week on the Evil Bay for a very good price!
