Iā€™m only 35 minutes from Squadron.

If only they had reopened a physical store. Paying shipping on top of the sales tax sucks when weā€™re talking such a short distance and Iā€™d likely spend more if I was able to browse the aisles.

The new owner is going to have a store at the new location. If you join the new Eagle Club, you are given warehouse access during the regular store hours. Probably a good thing I live 20 hours away!! :slight_smile:

The web site ā€˜about usā€™ page had an update about opening a store back in Texas in 2023 but that was the last post. I also see now in the news section they have a facility in Chattanooga? Where is the physical store actually located?

Okay. I found the info. Opening in January and now a bit further ā€“ just under two hours so no different from when I drive into Athens except my work wonā€™t reimburse me for gas.

Iā€™d have to think about the special pass as their hours arenā€™t the best since they fall inside my own work hours, so I would be limited to going on my days off although as a teacher I have the entire summer to drive back and forth.

Getting to see the aftermarket selection first-hand would be great as most of the smaller shops you find around my area have very little of that stuff and the images online donā€™t always give you a clear idea of what youā€™re getting. And again, browsing means I might find something I hadnā€™t thought about looking for which translates to more sales.

I have all of the Zombie Series, Desert Battle Series and The Last Bridge Series of figures.

I think that they are cool, and of course, the apocalypse being one of my favorite genres has no influence on my thinking!! :laughing:

Iā€™m sure theyā€™ll be fine. I spend so much time on armor that when I sit down to do a figure, Iā€™m starting over again it seems because of the lack of repetition lol. My hands arenā€™t as steady but my eyes are still good- of course the optivisor is essential!!
