There is nothing like flying through space with the top down and feeling
the immense nothingness rush past your helmet.

I stopped wearing a space suit and helmet while modeling years ago
:wink: :grin:

Down here heat is carried away from your body by the cold air (i.e. cold gas) around you.
There is extremely little gas in space so there is nothing to carry away the body heat,
radiation (infra red) will let you lose some heat but it isn’t all that much.
Space suits are actually designed to cool you while in the sunlight, the thermal conductivity of space is very close to zero

I have to admit, that is a good video to watch considering he starts from just a sheet of styrene to a great looking “panel”. Also good to see how scatterbrained Adam Savage can be. Makes me feel better about myself and the antics I sometimes go through.
