Was wondering if the were put on before and camo painted with the rest of the tank or were they put on later and kept natural steel. Thanks
Hello
Late War AFVs Would Receive Their Tools After Completion of Camo, So They Always Were in Their Original Steel Color
at End of 1944 When Camo Was Applied at Factory, the Remobilization Tools (Spare Tracks, Shovel, etc.) Were Added at the End After the Painting
as You Can See This Famous Panther Has Its Tools in Their Original Colors & Not Covered While Painting Camouflage
Just in Some Cases When Camo Was Still Applied by the Crew at Field, Tools Were Sometimes Not Removed & Painted Together
