"Winter in Ukraine" scale 1/350

My latest miniature project is finally complete. I ve called it “Winter in Ukraine” and it is in scale 1/350. I hope you like it :slight_smile:

Interesting piece- it’s not often you see AFV’s and buildings in this scale.

That’s a bit small for fitting a spring-loaded turret-launching mechanism action feature into the tank…

If you go up to 1:300th/1:285th scale you can include infantry in the scene…

I thought the new “Legions Imperialis” range had gone up to 10mm scale but having seen some while the vehicles are larger the figures seem to be about the same size as the old “Epic” ones, so GW are sticking with 6mm/1:300th perhaps?
They’re packing in the detail nowadays, but it’s now beyond my shaky hands…

The first thing you will see (apart from they being fantasy) is that like any GW stuff they are ----ing expensive! Back in the day I mostly used Heroics & Ros 1:300th stuff for gaming as it was affordable in quantity but for better detail for dioramas in your primary interests (WW1 and later?) where smaller numbers will suffice and mitigate the higher prices I would suggest you look to GHQ’s 1:285th range:
