WIP 1/35 Thunder Model US Army Loader

Decided to build this little kit:

Somewhat underestimated the assembly - Not as bad as Miniart’s bulldozers but this one has a lot of tiny parts that can be eaten by the floor monster. Started the engine assembly:

Going to use my 3D printed tires instead of the kit-supplied rubber ones:

More to come - unless I get distracted by 3D CAD modeling…

Looking good.

Now might be a good time to plumb the engine wiring.

Thanks for the photo. It’s giving me a headache already, Ryan. Eik Yuck Sticker - Eik Yuck Gross - Discover & Share GIFs

That’s the nicest, cleanest one I could find. The other was spaghetti bowl.

I do get if you don’t to do that. My tractor is sitting at that stage.

@Petition2God, Nice clean start.

@Tank_1812, Thanks for the reference photo of the wiring. Makes it look like, “oh yeah, this is totally doable”

OK, some progress. Did some wiring. Not quite thin as the reference photo but I’ll settle.

Put them wheels on:

More to come - slowly.

The photos with only the rear wheels mounted reminded me of this scene from the Cars movie
