I just started working on a 3D print of a pit droid from Star Wars: The Phantom Menace!
It’s 25 build plates! 
It will be roughly 1 meter tall when assembled.
I’m printing and completing each plate one at a time.

Oh, and did I mention I’m going to weaponize him?

And did I mention this will definitely not be canon!
Well, I got the base coat of flat black put down and dry-brushed some Vallejo Dull Aluminum.
I didn’t like how the pigment powders looked on it so I’ve got some Vallejo Diorama FX acrylic mud coming later in the week.
Now I think my droid’s feet (boots) are done!
I’ve printed the shins and plan to start sanding and priming them tomorrow (Sunday). The upper legs should be finished printing in another 5 hours!
