Nah! GO all out and convert your Cr2 build; then buy the RFM kit, build it and compare. :+1:

Keep going- great work.

Certainly is- you’ve captured the look of the cage really well.

Yeah that looks great, definitely finish it up.

You should certainly finish it. You’ll have the satisfactoin of having done it yourself.
In looking at photos of the original though, I think you might be happier using tulle (wedding veil) for the screening. It looks closer to the original pattern, and certainly more to scale. And a couple of buck’s worth of it will last a lifetime.

I bought the same stuff, a yard looks to be enough to recreate the chain link fence of a scale replica of a modern airbase. I wanted it for doing my Sheridan plus I noticed a lot of US armor carried it rolled up for setting up night positions. I second your recommendation for what it’s worth

the mesh came from Heller’s 1 35 vbci IFV kit

You wouldn’t happen to have more details regarding this specific kit would you? I can’t find much online about it.
TIA.

No, sorry. RFM haven’t posted any more about it, and it does not have a box number, either. If I see anything, I’ll post it here.
