WIP Leclerc in the new brown color

Tamiya wants you to pant thier kit in NATO 3 color which is incorrect
i find it unlikely that Tamiya has the correct colors for that brown and green that France uses

I didn’t collect pics of the UAE variant but i thinks there’re lots of differencies with french version : remotely turret machine gun, new largest turret basket, new sides armour. Since the UAE version has german engine perhaps it has a different rear upper hull?
The UAE used a few of their Leclerc with KFOR marking and an european camo.

We can only hope the upper deck is different

The UAE Leclerc is really different.
Here is a picture of the rear without the APU. It shows how much different it is from the French tank.

I like this version (color) and the name, NARVIK is cool. I know the French name their tanks on famous battles (Battle of Narvik), military personnel and so on. I was thinking about making a Leclerc named “STONNE 1940” after the famous battle of Stonne, France, during the French campaign. I just cannot find any evidence they named any of their tanks after that campaign’s battles. NARVIK gives me hope I wouldn’t be too incorrect if I did it anyway…
