I enjoyed the build of the VBCI, there are some issues with the turret if memory serves correct but I am planing on building another one.
The assembly is not the issue with this model. The fit is pretty good and I donāt recall any mistakes in the instructions.
The main issue concerns the accuracy. Heller did make two main mistakes, the engine grill and the rear Galix launchers. If you stick to the instructions, youāll represent a VBCI as deployed to Afghanistan with a poor rendition of the RPG net.
I advise you to represent a later VCBI without the RPG net, the turret bustle bin and the roof box. All these items are Afghanistan features.
If you want to depict a more accurate model, you can have a look at my build here

Super ton VBCI beaucoup de travail la dedans!
Bien sur!
Un peu oui.
i found 2 more pics of the Leclerc in that new brown color
I also wish there was a way to build the variant of the Leclerc used by the UAE and Jordan
when is that due out?
2026, its written under the picture.
Used by UAE in Yemen against the Houties⦠i didnāt know about this future release⦠i must finish my TM Leclerc!
Reminds me of the joke about why the British wore red uniforms.
too bad its not this year
VOILA!
and since the UAE gave some to Jordan I wonder if it will have both UAE and Jordanian markings
I like it! I wonder if the Tamiya version would benefit from a new change in colorā¦
New tooling and new parts. No directions included, so I canāt say about markings.
I was trying to compare the 2 kits - still working on it. They both basically look about the same externally.
if you look at the box art for the UAE variant you will see a APU on the rear and the front of the hull is different
one thing i noticed when i was building my Leclerc there was a hole right the gunners hatch look in the instructions you will see part C2 covers that hole and if you look at the UAE Leclerc there is a remote weapons station in that very same spot
So it appears Tiger models plans for future variants
