USMC Long-range Fires unmanned ROGUE-Fires JLTV chassis with Mark 41 launch cell for Tomahawk missile. The US Army is said to be interested in acquiring this as well.

While SM-6 works for a number of “large” targets, is there something similar for the smaller drone/drone swarms that more cost effective per shot?

Not for the Mark 41 VLS cell. There is the Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile (ESSM) that can fit four in one cell, but that doesn’t mean that the ESSMs are cheap either.

Since I’m only building Marine stuff for work these days, here’s my top 5

  1. M51 ARV
  2. LVT-3/3C
  3. LVT-1
  4. JLTV NMESIS
  5. Amphibious Combat Vehicle

There a few others, but those are my priorities.

Right now, the only kit I’m interested in is Tamiya’s new M36 Jackson. Then get the M18 Hellcat, so my “US Tank Destroyers of WW2” collection is complete.

" General Dynamics European Land Systems (GDELS) has officially unveiled its new NEMESIS 155mm self-propelled howitzer at this year’s International Defence & Security Exhibition in Madrid.

“The system is built on the ASCOD 2 infantry fighting vehicle chassis and incorporates an unmanned Artillery Gun Module (AGM) originally used in the wheeled RCH 155 platform.”

I wouldn’t say that I want it, but it is a very unique 155mm SPH design that even comes with a RWS gun on top of the turret for anti-air and anti-infantry purposes.

Can I play again?
How about some private-venture stuff, like maybe anything from Vickers done for Cold War export markets (Valiant, Mk7)? Seems like an ignored niche at the moment.
Another rabbit hole, post-war to present India? More Vickers designs to Arjun, lots of possibilities there too.

Is it too late to play? I mean theres only three plus months left to see this 2025 wish list get fulfilled!

My picks

  1. USMC LVT-3C Bushmaster (Korean War)

  2. British Mark IX “Pig” armored personal carrier. (WW1)

  3. British Mark I Gun Carrier self propelled artillery (WW1)

Bob Semple in 1/35 .Leopard 1A5 or any of the cast turret Leos in 1/16 (Das Werk?) A Swiss unimog radio truck ( like the one I briefly owned before discovering I couldn’t legally drive it in Belgium)
That’s about it , maybe Das Werk could release a 1/16 Schwimmwagon.Would be a improvement on my Italeri effort.
And to make it 5: how about a Tiger tank ( only kidding) but a Argentinean TAM tank would be nice.
Cheers Santa!

When I was stationed at FT. MacClellan in early 70s a friend had one. The shift linkage was always hanging up at bad times, like going over railroad tracks! Wayne

Just want to also vent again: dang, PLEASE, an M11/39 kit!

Been fascinated with that tank since I was 12 years old.

Especially as they were used in Somaliland, a largely ignored theater.

Hard to believe no one has come up with one yet.
