USMC Long-range Fires unmanned ROGUE-Fires JLTV chassis with Mark 41 launch cell for Tomahawk missile. The US Army is said to be interested in acquiring this as well.
Not for the Mark 41 VLS cell. There is the Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile (ESSM) that can fit four in one cell, but that doesn’t mean that the ESSMs are cheap either.
Right now, the only kit I’m interested in is Tamiya’s new M36 Jackson. Then get the M18 Hellcat, so my “US Tank Destroyers of WW2” collection is complete.
" General Dynamics European Land Systems (GDELS) has officially unveiled its new NEMESIS 155mm self-propelled howitzer at this year’s International Defence & Security Exhibition in Madrid.
“The system is built on the ASCOD 2 infantry fighting vehicle chassis and incorporates an unmanned Artillery Gun Module (AGM) originally used in the wheeled RCH 155 platform.”
I wouldn’t say that I want it, but it is a very unique 155mm SPH design that even comes with a RWS gun on top of the turret for anti-air and anti-infantry purposes.
Can I play again?
How about some private-venture stuff, like maybe anything from Vickers done for Cold War export markets (Valiant, Mk7)? Seems like an ignored niche at the moment.
Another rabbit hole, post-war to present India? More Vickers designs to Arjun, lots of possibilities there too.
