Working on a Russian wooden house

Had this around for years and got a urge to play around with it as it’s too hot and humid to spend much time outdoors.

Hopefully!

I have known this set for a long time, it was always interesting to see. Thank you for providing this opportunity. I have no doubt that you will make a good diorama.
I have a few comments. Not to you, but to the set itself. Maybe it will be useful and interesting to other forum members.
Yes, in Russia, as in many other northern countries, houses are built from wood. There’s plenty of it, it’s close by, and it’s cheap.
But our climate forces us to treat heat with care. A heat source with part of its surface located outside is not an optimal design.
The classic Russian stove is located entirely in the house. It serves not only for heating, they also cook food in it and even sleep on top - this is a massive structure that accumulates heat during the day and releases it at night.

PS I would be grateful for a photo from the side of the door.

Thanks, I didn’t include the door area took up too much room on the base.

Yes, now I myself have seen and understood it.
