WW2 German Faun L900 Trailer

Need some assistance with the Das Werk L900 trailer. I am stuck on the first page with the foward brace construction. I attached the spring and have the dual tires all set, but I do not understand how the top portion attaches to the brace. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

Many thanks

The Sd.Ah. 115?
These steps?

Which part do you mean by “brace” and “top portion”?

I did step 2.2 no problem. I paced it on step 2.3 minus parts H40 and 41. It fit as did the axle assembly. I am lost at how 40 and 41 fit and the attachment of the trailer bar.

H12 has two holes to fit two little pegs on H41,
same for H11 and H40. H40 & H41 has little edges on top that fit into slots in the top frame (G6).

G8 has claws that grip around the pins on H40 & H41.
G7 closes G8 from above and locks H40 & H41 in the claws of G8

Careful with the glue, dry fit G7 & G8 first to see where the glue goes.
I would use Tamiya Extra Thin to glue with capillary action when the parts
are in the correct position

Thank you once again

That has got to be the best, clearest, and most adroit answer to a question that I’ve ever seen. Even without the kit, I found it a great read and explanation. Thanks Uncle Heavy

You’re welcome

Seeing the instructions zoomed in on a computer screen helps a lot.
Most kits have the instructions online at Scalemates stored as pdf-files
that can be downloaded. Zoom in with a pdf-reader, take a screenshot
and then scribble on the image.
