How big a difference was there between the flight deck/ elevator of the Essex class, Casablanca, and Commencement Bay class flat tops? Planning on doing an F4U and F6F5N off the Block Island. ( CVE-106. Commencement Bay class ) I have found flight deck bases for Essex class and Gambier Bay (Casablanca Class). I figure the elevators would be the same (gotta move the same aircraft). Would planking be the same spec on all (just different amounts for the size of the deck? (Lexington, Saratoga, Enterprise look to have had differen frame (?) for the elevaors.)
