Check out the Military Aviation Museum website. They have the tower from Goxhill.

Your tower looks great!

When I left Virginia Beach in 2017 the modelling club which met at the museum was working on a 1/72 scale diorama of the Goxhill airfield which would be featured on the second floor of the museum. More of an AFV guy than an airplane guy myself, I did many of the support vehicles. Here’s a few I finished up before I left:

@jmarc wow this is really exciting. What scale is it? Did you say and I missed it? That chair is awesome. I don’t know why I keep going back to look at it with all the other things you build, but I really like it.

@Namabiiru mark, extraordinary masking and painting you did there. Wow. I’m going to be busy in that museum sometime this summer. I’ll look for the diorama.

Surely will !

That is quite something …

Thnaks .. ine is in 1/48 scale !

Thanks for the kind words, I ahrdly can walk true doors now..lol..mine is in 1/48 scale.. stay tune more to come shortly !

Thank you for the kind words. Judging by the state of their FB page, it doesn’t appear the dio has progressed much since I left, nor is the tower up to the level of Marc’s by a long way.

Remember time iand wifes are a factor..lol

Nice! I like all those little details in the office. Makes it look busy and lived in.
Hope you post plenty more images.

TTTTThanks glad you like it .. you bet I will , in mid-time I’m figuring out how I will do the roof top details .. stay tune more to come shortly !

Just for interest, these are shots of the original Control Tower from the first site of RAF St Mawgan built by the Americans in WW2. It was actually a huge field called Trebelzue (pronounced Treblezoo) and that part of the airfield was later repurposed into the ammo storage area.
When it was functional, it would of had a wooden command structure on top with 360 vision…
