AVD Models has released a 1/35 scale ZIL-130V1 with an ODAZ-885 semi-trailer.
On the wish list, maybe some day in the future …
I like that this company does make 1/35 civilian vehicles. Miniart do the same albeit civilianised versions of their kits though I do like their recent fordson release.
There has been a smattering of civilian kit releases in 1/35 from other manufacturers. It would be good to see more western trucks scania, Mercedes , Daf etc as well as fire engines. Perhaps one of the companies making Bedford trucks might release NFS fire appliances ![]()
I can dream I suppose ![]()

Really like the look of this, will have to get one. Have their tipper already, look like a nice kit.
This does look great. Another truck I may have to get.
You could put alot of rockets in that trailer!
Great release. I already have the GE Models conversion for AVD’s short wheelbase kits to make the tractor, but trying to find a Guntower trailer for it has been impossible. So nice to finally have a trailer.
Good news !
I own three of these trucks from AvD and one from Zvezda.
Hope to see more trailers.
Dont know of the frame of this trailer was used for tanks or boxes too.
It looks like there were quite a few interesting trailers used with this truck.
Airport people-mover
Box trailer
Car carrier
Cement tank hauler
Not sure what this is??
A very good kit, one that was a long time coming. The variety of ZIL-130 variants is very large. Other versions of this vehicle may also be offered. Here are excerpts from the Russian KTA.This vehicle was also used by the GSSD armed forces in East Germany.
It’s a “mobile submarine museum” nicknamed “Yellow Submarine”

Man 0 man…this one strikes the modeling funny bone. Could this be yet another addition to the ‘never get to build’ stash?

This was what got me wondering about tank haulers on the Ho Chi Minh trail. Wayne
