Zoukei-Mura - F-4J Phantom II - USN - VF-194 Red Lightnings

I can now call thisZoukei-Mura – USN F-4J done ! This is only my first finished model this year, I guess that I unfortunately have too many half finish models on the worktable these days.

It is a 1:48 scale American F-4J Phantom from the VF-194 Red Lightnings USS Coral Sea

This is my 7th Phantom in a never-ending Phantom collection. I am working on the 8th right now .

I always wanted to build a Phantom in Heather Ferris schem e.

As always I have a ton of resin and etch on the k it.

Great builld! What are your thoughts on the ZM kit itself? I have the early E version in the stash.

I can highly recommend the ZM kits, this was my 5th ZM model.

I prefer ZM way over Academy and Hasegawa Phantoms. I have not tried Tamiyas yet, but it looks good.
The only downside on ZM ( in my point of view ) is the wrong shape of the rear part of the fuselage on the short nosed ZM Phantoms. But that is easy to fix.
