Another project I’m working on along side the MPCV… i have a feeling i Gonna be spending more time looking for references than building the actual models which is why im doing 2 at the same time

First things… i can’t really find any interior shots except for one or 2 pictures… does anybody have any clear shots of the drivers compartment and the middle seats? I’m doing the UN scheme, what would the inside color of the hatches be?

These may help you:

Are the interior side of the hatches white instead of green for a UN vehicle?

Looking good. For gear, think of it like an M113. It would have ammo cans, ration boxes, individual bags, water cans, etc., etc., etc…

Another question…. Rocket ammo for the m72 law or at-4, is it stowed in tubes or crates?

The M72 and AT-4 do not have separate ammo. They are one-shot weapons. The ammo is pre-loaded into the tube. After firing, the empty tube is disposed of.

Really? I didn’t know that… i always thought they could be reloaded… what about the javelin launcher?

I believe the Javelin is the same. Clip the sighting unit to the launch tube, fire it, unclip the sighting unit, and discard the empty tube.
Most modern anti-tank weapons are like that.

Tankerken is correct. Javelin is also a one-shot device.

Thanks for the info! I really didn’t know they were one shot items…. Where would they typically be stowed? On top of the battery box, under the seats, or on the shelf?

Yes to all of the above. They can go wherever the unit designates, but usually somewhere easy to get to.

This is what i have so far… nothing is glued down yet cause i can’t make a decision, i put wooden box under the middle seats cause the thing keeps breaking! Would wooden box’s be a thing on a modern apc? As usual all tips and criticism are welcomed

Stowage looks good. Nice and lived in.

Yes, .50 cal ammo (and others) still come in wooden crates.

Finally got some updates… i really gotta figure out a better way to make wires, painting metal wires takes way too long and is very frustrating!

Couple questions… what kind of weapons would the crew have for personal defense? Would they be Korean or because it’s UN would it be some universal rifles that any other UN crew would have?
Also… would it be “real” to install a blueforce tracker screen in the tank where the co2 warning signs are?

It looks great. Excellent job on the interior details.

I have changed to colored 1/24 car model ignition wires. They are small in diameter, actual thin wire with rubber coating, hold their shape, and come in a bunch of colors.

For the individual weapons, they would be Korean. The key to NATO ops is the caliber. Korea uses NATO-standard 5.56mm weapons to make resupply easy.

Not sure ROK uses BFT, but if they do, that is where the screens would most likely be.
