1/35 m1167 tow

So i tried some color change paint from greenstuff world and it didn’t really work, i applied it with brush so maybe that’s why…

Gonna try ssgtoms way now…. I honestly right about using those reflect coating stickers but no way could i cut that in a perfect circle!

not sure if it will work in this application but i use a sample square of a window cling treatment ill try to get the name and post it up as well.

Get yourself a good punch set. You’ll be glad you did. For even larger ones, get the Harbor Freight set - absolutely nothing wrong with it.

True dat.

I have RP Toolz punches and DSPIAE circular cutter for larger diameters. Worth every penny.

Thank you guys for the tips! I been experimenting with different paints and finishes. Here are my final attempts but i don’t think i like it… i might go with that hole punch idea with the reflection coating decals

And here are some updates! Almost done!

I managed to hinge 2 doors so some exterior can be visible

The vehicle looks mighty fine. You won’t regret getting yourself some punches. In the interim, you might find a paper punch that does a hole just the right size. I have three and they’re all slightly different in size.

One slight observation - those armored doors are made of aluminum and will not have rust colored chips or scratches. An easy fix.

If it’s not too late, don’t forget to add the brown stripe for the rocket motor on the rear of the TOW round in the launcher. Everything else is looking really good!

I have a few comments - the color of the BFT antenna needs to be corrected. Same with antenna DUKE.

Im not gonna change it now cause it’s shelved and everything put away but what colors should they be for the next project?

Very nice result. The color contrast provided by that 3tone hood is a great idea. Of course the TOW is top.
