sorry no infos on price and availability yet. You have to check EUREKA XXL site frequently. I think they will be much cheaper than Shapeways prints.

I know this is an old thread, but just came across it and saw this wasn’t addressed. I was an Avenger/Stinger in the 82nd during the invasion of Iraq. I can say I never saw them in a wooden box, so they must get transferred long before hitting the battery. The stinger trucks (I saw a nice model in progress on here) used the metal boxes. When we got the live ones in Kuwait when we invaded, they were already in the metal boxes, along with the MANPAD equipment and 2 BCUs. We loaded them in the Avengers and dumped the metal boxes there. I can’t speak for the Linebackers as I only saw one guarding the entrance to a FOB and never looked inside. I can’t imagine they would ever be placed in a wooden box in the field. They’re very expensive and the tubes are not very rugged.
