although these days with time being so limited and so many kits in the stash waiting to be built, I find myself drawn to those not requiring as much effort to bring up to standard 
The best hulls bar non I’ve seen are Tamiya’s: a glorious 2mm wall thickness resulting in very little deformation; 1mm is just too thin to give a good result
