1/35th HH-60W

I built the Pave Hawk sometime ago and wanted to do the Whiskey Jolly Green II model. So after downloading what I could find I started the build. I used the Kitty Hawk 60H kit as the base, extra upper exhaust leftover parts from Kitty Hawk other builds and the Academy blackhawk “sprue O” for the rest, upturned exhaust, cockpit dash was bashed onto the KW parts. Scratchbuilt the gunner seats, brought the rear cabin wall forward along with some changes to the body. I sanded the rear stabilizers fins down to make the composite fins. The thin yellow rod was used to mimic the lighting around all the door/window openings.

It looks great so far. Good job incorporating the Academy M model parts.

I have the Whiskey finished, need to take finished photos of it along with the handful I already done. I have 7 more of the different 60 Hawk kits that I’ll be starting.

Medevac Hawk, finally used the conversion set I made for Wener Wings years back. I hope the link works…

That is an incredible amount of detail you’ve put into this. You have so many items like the equipment under the floors that isn’t viewable unless you plan to have it in maintenance. Truly impressive. How long did it take, if I may ask?
