1/72nd scale trash

I would like to know if there is any tutorials on how to make realistic trash?
I’ve seen some of the modelers from Taiwan or even China that has made some pretty realistic trash.
I’ve tried looking at YouTube, but for some reason I’m not getting what I’m looking for in this scale.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Exactly what kind of trash are you trying to make?

Trash bags, bottles, boxes …etc.

Bottles that tiny are pretty difficult unless you have a small lathe. As for trash bags, you can experiment with white glue soaked tissue shaped the way you want, or use 2-part epoxy. For boxes, I’ve used both wood strip, or plastic, cut to length, and distress and paint in the case of plastic.

Sounds good. Thanks for the information.

What he says, Night Shift has a few videos where he makes tarps and sandbags from epoxy putty, but in 1/35 scale. The ideas should translate into 1/72, though.

A bit undersize, but possibly useful (and probably available via your local model railway shop):

T-Models have a set of modern US accessories. There’s a clear sprue with big water containers, and several 750 ml. water bottles. They are TINY! Look in front of the red cooler at the bottom of the image.
