hi all, my wife and I are in Logroño again and we followed a military parade to a miniature version of the battle.
it was recreated in miniature using Playmobil figures which might not have crossed the Atlantic and seldom made it to the UK.
the battle involved the French surrounding the town and trying to starve the population using siege tactics. the Spanish found a way around this and managed to bring bread, fish and of course wine into the city.
