I purchased the Vargas M777 after the Vegas Nationals, and still haven’t made more than 20% headway. The lack of detailed instructions/parts placement was no help, and led me to believe there were some parts missing. When I emailed him, asking for better guidance on building the kit, crickets. So, it remains on the shelf. I’ve seen a build report or two here, but I imagine those folks had much better references (and maybe more parts) than I have. It cost too much to just heave-ho, so I’ll continue to build other kits…

I also didn’t have any issues with it. You do need to have a decent set of walk-around photos for it as the instructions can be a bit vague in places. The kit is decent. Mine won an AMPS Gold and IPMS Omaha Nats 1st place in artillery.
