A 50 year old kit - Tamiya's PanzerKampfwagen III Ausf.M/N

Having built a few of those old tool Tamiya Panzer IIIs, I will say that you sure made the old girl look pretty damn good. Posing it with the same vintage T-34/76 is a great photo as well. Nicely done! :+1:t3:

Great effort!
I too just finished a couple of old; OLD Tamiya Stuarts. Very satisfying builds!

I am planning on doing a “4 of a kind” build… with Stuarts!
2 Tamiya (M3 and M5) and 2 Italeri (M3A1 & M3A1 Honey).
I might even throw in Tamiya’s M8… just for shits 'n giggles.

Nice work on both. Add a simple base and it will make a very nice display. :+1: :+1:

I have a couple of those and admit that I am more interested in building them than the Academy offerings.

Admitting my increasing ignorance of the hobby. Are those Academy re-pops?

Yes they are.

I have every much enjoyed my Tamiya Pz. III as well!

I love these old kits. Granted, there are more than a few in which the hull is mishappen due to motorization that can be quite problematic.

I built this kit when it first came out in the 70’s. This and Tamiyas STUG III with the German Paratroopers were 2 of my favorite kits.

Indeed. The latter one was also one of my first. Along with Italeri’s StuG IV.
